Ozzy is a 4yr old, 14.3hh, sooty buckskin Gypsy cross gelding with the kind of presence that grabs your attention from the start. If his good looks don’t get ya hooked, his personality and rideability definitely will. From the arena to the trails, this gelding has you covered and would be an exceptional prospect to show in all ranch versatility classes or under english tack. 

 

Ozzy has been ridden through state parks, used on overnight camping trips, and used for basic ranch work making circles and gathering. He’s traveled through multiple trail courses and handled every obstacle with ease — water, bridges, logs, brush, teeter totters, you name it. He also handles new environments confidently, taking everything in stride. Ozzy goes through water easily and is steady around activity and commotion. We have shot firearms around him and he handled it extremely well, never getting bothered or reactive. He also handles vehicle traffic well and makes a gorgeous flag horse, carrying himself with confidence and style. In the arena, Ozzy is a fun and fancy ride. He has a light handle, bridles up well, is started on flying lead changes, and will absolutely drag his hind end when asked to stop. He’s been used as a turnback horse in the cutting pen as well and will really cow up to one. Ozzy has also been ridden English and took to it like a duck to water, showing just how versatile he wants to be. Ozzy is very fluid and smooth in all gaits, making him a comfortable and enjoyable horse to ride for long stretches. If rideability is just as important as personality to you, he'll surely win you over on the ground too.

 

His disposition is every bit as good as his ride. Ozzy has a super sweet personality — he loves his scratches, loves to give kisses, and truly enjoys being around people. He absolutely adores kids and is patient and kind with them. He’s great with pesky dogs and other farm animals/livestock, and he loads, unloads, and hauls like a pro. Ozzy is easy to get along with on the ground for all. He has always been a gentleman for grooming, stands quietly to be saddled, and takes a bit easily. He can be lead, as well as loaded onto the trailer by our 4yr old son with no issues no matter where we are. Ozzy can go barefoot with no issues and has been barefoot with us, but currently has a full set on as personal preference for sale horses.
